The new school year has begun:
Also this year, we invited our tailor, the shoemaker and for the first time even a hairdresser to the Kali Ashram for our 25 new sponsored children..
This way, once more all had a good start into the school year..

Here a few pictures to give an impression.

Schooling 2011
25 additional children have been sponsored by new sponsors worldwide. For them, it means a new start in their life.
School bus pick-up for the children from Dolalghat is at 8 am, carrying them to the school at a distance of approximately 11 km. Around 4.30 pm they return. Most parents of our sponsored children do not know how to read or write. Therefore, we have been arranging for some years now for help in the afternoons with school homework and tutoring for all children from Dolalghat. There are 3 tutors being quite busy coaching the 70 children who attend daily classes.

We feel very grateful and appreciate that for ourselves it had been possible to enjoy the education of our choice, having grown-up in a country without existential needs. For this reason, we felt the necessity to support children of countries without these possibilities and circumstances. I deeply trust Kali Ma and the Foundation, for I know that the money gets there where it is needed. And even much more gets there that cannot be paid with money......this incredible love and devotion to the children that is shown and lived daily by Kali Ma and her team. For me, a sponsorship with the Kali Ma Foundation is something very special. The beautiful photographs and heartfelt reports about the well-being of my sponsored child make me participate in the progress. The yearly sponsors' meetings offer a possibility for communication and I feel to be welcome at any time to meet my sponsored child directly in Dolalghat and learn more about the work of the Foundation. I have known Kali Ma and her wonderful work in Nepal for about 10 years. 6 years ago I stayed in her Ashram for a longer visit and could experience with which devotion and love she is dedicated to the people there and the work of the Kali Foundation. For 5 years I have been a member of the Association and it is just great what has been happening already with the support of the sponsors. Every single sponsored child is selected by Kali personally and the contacts are ensured in the Ashram up to the visits to the children. Kalu Schreiber
Now I am living in Kaliningrad/Russia. I was filled with enthusiasm when I heard of the idea of founding a World LOVE Generation. I am very pleased about the additional new possibilities for many people!

School vacation program
For the first time we had this year in March a vacation program for all children of Dolalghat. Yusha Wiesinger, a school teacher from Austria having her new place of residence in India, offered English language lessons. She stayed with us here in the Kali Ashram for 7 weeks and assisted also our home work and coaching teachers. Furthermore, she created a course with educational information and development especially for young women. 
Even dancing lessons and a drawing course were offered.
To finalize the vacation period, a beautiful dancing program was performed in the Kali Ashram for all of us – parents as well as children.
Since everybody was totally happy with the vacation program, we wish to offer it again this autumn with new contents.

Parents Meeting
For years we have been maintaining a good collaboration with the parents of our sponsored children. On one hand, we visit them regularly at their home. On the other hand, twice a year we invite them to the Kali Ashram for conversations at the occasion of a parents meeting. This time, after the vacation program, we also invited the fathers particularly. Many of them participated and were surprised to see the nice drawings of their children.

World Love Generation
For many years, the Kali Ma Foundation has been active successfully in Dolalghat.
This year Kali Ma founded a worldwide network that is named "World Love Generation". With this network, she offers the possibility to all people all over the world to grow and live within an adequate frame of love and peace. Help for self help, education, mediation of worldwide sponsorships and health care are the priorities also of this network and its assistance.
The Kali Ma Foundation put their asset of many years of experience to the entire service of the World Love Generation.
